As a registered ANCATS breeder, we follow established breeding and registration requirements, including the mandatory ANCATS Breeder Code of Ethics. This means prioritising the health, welfare and responsible care of our cats and kittens, maintaining appropriate records and registering every litter.
We are committed to ethical breeding practices and raising well-cared-for kittens in a safe, loving environment.
When your kitten is ready to come home you’ll receive a kitten book containing the relevant paperwork and helpful information, including:

pedigree and transfer papers;

desexing certificate;

microchip certificate;
-
vaccination record;
-
feeding guide; and
-
coat-care and maintenance information.
Common questions asked about our kittens
What colour kittens do you have available?
Every litter is different, but our bloodlines may produce:

bicolours - red, blue, black, cream, tan, fawn and tortoiseshell
-
colourpoints - blue, chocolate, tan, cream and red;
-
tortoiseshell;
-
vans - blue, cream ,red, black, fawn and tortoiseshell
-
solid colours - black, red, white, blue, cream fawn and brown
-
smoke - solids, bicolours, tortoiseshell, vans and colourpoint.
In breeder terminology, “blue” describes a grey coat colour.
No particular colour can be guaranteed in an upcoming litter, but you are welcome to tell us what you are hoping for and ask to join the waiting list.
Can I come and meet the kittens?
If you are based in Melbourne you are welcome to come and meet the kittens we have available.
Interstate families can meet the kittens by video call, where we can show you all their different colours and personalities and talk through the safe and secure interstate travel options.
Can the kittens travel to interstate homes?
Yes! Many interstate families have welcomed our kittens home. We have safe and secure transport options with reputable pet transport services that we can discuss with you.
How are the kittens raised?
Our cats and kittens are part of our family and live with us inside our home. They grow up around adults and children and normal household activity. They receive plenty of love, attention and affection, helping them become confident and social.
The health and welfare of our cats and kittens always come first.
For us, they are not just 'animals' - they are part of our family.
What do the kittens eat?
Our kittens are raised on a carefully considered diet that includes fresh beef, chicken, turkey liver and sardines, along with filtered water. We can help you with feeding guidance when you bring your new kitten home
Which type of breed is best?
